Jesus, What About Me?

  • You are patiently waiting on your Boaz, and you cannot understand why God has not sent him to you in his knight and shining armor. As a young woman of God, I totally understand where you are coming from. I know the feeling of loving someone and your love not being returned. I understand what it is to be in “the perfect” relationship, to only have it come crashing down upon you in a matter of seconds. These are normal emotions, so before I go any further you need to know, understand, and believe that you are not abnormal, “brand new”, weird, or “doing too much.” You are a WOMAN. A woman created by God, out of man’s rib to be a helper to that same man.

With that being said, we long to be with a man emotionally, physically, and spiritually because God made it so in the beginning. However, God did not call us to settle. He did not call us to be with man at any costs. How many of you believe that love doesn’t cost a thing? If you say yes, take the time to write out how much you have paid in “costs” because you settled. Because you allowed someone, who was not ordained by God into your life, into your house, into your body. Now, with that same list, thank God for his gratefulness! Thank God that he didn’t leave you brokenhearted and stuck with our sins. Thank God that He has not settled you. Thank God that He has so much more awaiting you, while He is WAITING ON YOU.

Woman of God, you have work to do. You have to take the time to know who you are before you can know someone else. You have to “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) God has already made the way. It is now up to us to do His will.

I challenge you to take the next seven minutes to simply meditate on the above verse. First repent of your sins, thank God for his grace and mercy, and then simply ask Him to show you how to seek Him and follow His will.

    Until next time my loves,
    Chemi_Amour
